Activity Days - held throughout the school holidays
Maths Activity Days have been been running successfully since July 2007:
One off days based on fun activities to do with Maths
Carefully planned to help build confidence in Maths
Have proved very popular with many children coming back for more and more ..
Activities include: codebreaking, baking, board games, problem solving, treasure hunts, building 3d shapes, mathletics and quizes
The day is from 9am to 4pm with lunch and snacks provided
Small groups with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12
Cost is £50 per day (payable at time of booking)
Eleven Plus Activity Days are new for 2010. They have been just as successful:
very similar to the maths days but you've guessed it ... all to do with the eleven plus exams needed for Ripon Grammar School and other school's entrance exams.
Chatterton Tuition also offer one to one 11+ tuition, and exam practice sessions.
